Each magazine is aimed at the aviation enthusiast and scale aircraft modeller and . Each wweek features an in depth looks at a different aspects of aviation, containing  authorative brief histories by well known aviation authors.

Sections of the intial 8 Volumes magazine deal, in alphabetical order aviators, aircraft, articles, historic backgrounds to aircraft, units and squadrons. Many early issues had a modelling article with hints and tips by Ray Rimmell. The aircraft featured usually were the type from the previous issue.

Volumes 9 - 11 went on to cover air forces of the world and famous aircraft.

Each Volume was designed to be made up of 15 magazines. Each magazine was marketed by PART Number

Great for a nostalgic look back at the past and also a wealth of aviation information. Excellent references by well known authors -for the modeller and the historian.
