Clifton Curios Postcards is a UK based business and we ship Internationally

PAYMENTS
We accept payments by Paypal.
Alternative methods of payment can be arranged by contacting us at cliftoncurios@aol.com

Cheques must be drawn on a British Bank and paid in GBPs (£)
[Please also ensure you have written your name and address, along with your Bankcard number and expiry date]
Cash payments are not recommended and will only be accepted at the buyer's own risk.
We do not accept Western Union .

SHIPPING METHODS

Larger Items - Books, Commemoratives etc.
UK Inland: 1st Class Royal Mail or Parcel Force

Books, and larger items are securely packed and are shipped according to weight. Fragile labels are applied to chinaware and other fragile items.

*When customers need enhanced delivery times or insurance they must contact us to determine the best method to fulfil their requirements.
At present we recommend the Royal Mail AIRSURE Service and will quote costs upon request.

DELIVERY TIMES

We aim to ship items within two working days from receipt of payment. [Following a British Public Bank holiday shipping will take place the next working day]

We cannot guarantee delivery times once an item has been posted. This is outside our control and dependent upon the Postal System Worldwide.
Guidelines for these are available on the Royal Mail web site.
Items passing through customs may be delayed by the receiving country.

PROOF of Posting is obtained for all envelopes and packages.

We charge a flat rate fee (dependent on destination+) for any number of postcards ordered

POSTCARDS
UK Inland: 1st Class Royal Mail
Overseas Mail: Royal Mail - Airmail Letter Rate or Printed Paper.
Postcard/s are placed in a transparent sleeve/s between two layers of card in an envelope with appropriate labelling.as applicable to size and weight
Overseas Mail: Printed Matter is sent by Royal Mail - Airmail [Printed Paper]*
Other larger items are sent by Royal Mail - Airmail [Small Packet]*

PLEASE READ THE INSURANCE SECTION

We combine shipping of books and commemoratives. Costs are weight dependent. With very large orders we reserve the right to pack items in more than one parcel where appropriate. Combined orders of books and commemoratives may be sent in separate packages.

Packages sent outside the UK are limited to 2kg unless Printed Matter such as books and magazines when the limit is 5Kg

Please note that at present - Canada, Cambodia and the Republic of Ireland will not accept packages above 2kg for any item.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Clifton Curios Postcards we are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy or all our customers and visitors.

The information collected from customers when signing up is used for billing and administration purposes only and will be kept confidential. Contact details and payment information (credit or debit card) will not be passed onto third parties.

When visitors use the website, information such as the ISP's domain, the time accessed and the pages visited will be stored by EKM Systems. This is to analyze the web traffic and improve content of the site.

CUSTOMS
We always submit accurate Customs information. Customers should be familiar with their own country’s import regulations, including charges and restrictions

We do not falsify Custom details and we request that customers do not ask us to do so.

INSURANCE
We cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post, nor delays in their delivery.

In certain cases we can make a claim on your behalf. Refunds will not usually be made until the Royal Mail completes their investigation.

Standard Royal Mail postal insurance covers the item up to the value of £46 only, but not the postage paid.

Extra Insurance can be provided at a customer’s request. Please contact us for the extra charges.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

A customer may return an item if they are not fully satisfied with their purchase or find it not as described in the listing. They can receive a full refund providing the item is returned in appropriate secure packaging within 14 working days and is in as good a condition as it was when purchased. Return postage is not included in this refund. If there are any queries when you receive the item please e-mail us first at cliftoncurios@aol.com to agree the refund arrangements.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
If you must cancel your order for any reason please e-mail us to make arrangements.

We reserve the right to cancel any order not paid for where the customer has not made contact within 10 days.
