Queen Zita was formerly known as Princess Zita of Bourbon Parma. In 1911 she married Emperor Charles of Austria and as such became the last Empress consort of Austria, Boehemia, Hungary and Croatia. This is a portrait of her in Budapest in 1916 following the Coronation. There is a Queen Zita Hungarian stamp on the reverse.
