This plate was produced to commemorate the Royal wedding in 1981 of Prince Charles The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. The main design shows the couple in transfer print portraits with the commemoration printed in matching brown italic script below. The creamy base colour to this plate has an embossed rose and leaf design around the main rim with national flowers, again in brown, around the portraits. There are four lines of fine crazing above the Princesses head otherwise the item is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
