This ashtray was produced to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II with her husband Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh in 1953. The attractive artistic images at the centre are presented in relief. The outer rim has a metallic gold band with a further orange and blue band to define the internal edges. The back of the ashtray shows the manufacturers backstamp. There is crazing and a little wear to the gold edging but there are no chips or cracks.
