This shaped commemorative cup was produced to celebrate the coronation in 1937 of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The main face shows the two portraits with flags and national flowers and the commemoration printed above and below. The opposite face shows the King's monogram with a crown to the top. The top edge has a metallic gold band and there is gold flashing down the handle. The mug is in good condition with one fine crack from the top edge ( please see photograph) and crazing but no chips.
