This commemorative ashtray was produced to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. The centre design shows the royal insignia with the lion and unicorn. The outer rim carries a full commemoration of the event. The outer rim has a metallic gold edge with some wear while the inner blue rim is in good condition. The back stamp for Paragon is shown on the underside of the item with a further commemoration of the coronation. The ashtray is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
