This amazing old commemorative plate shows the King & Queen's portraits at the centre with laurel leaf frames and flags to either side. The full commemoration is printed above and below with the crest for the city and county of Newcastle. The Lord Mayor's name, Alderman Sir W.H. Stephenson and that of the Sheriff Councillor R. H. Millican are also printed below. The item is in very good condition with only the outer metallic gold rim worn away but there are no chips, cracks or crazing .
