This creamy yellow small plate was produced to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937 but which of course did not happen. The centre design shows the King's portrait with flags and the commemoration above and below. The outer edge has a yellow band of leaves and a metallic gold rim. The item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing .
