This beautiful commemorative plate was produced for the Silver Jubilee celebration of King George V and Queen Mary in 1935. The main face shows the two royal portraits with flags and the commemoration printed above. The centre of the plate has the coat of arms of the City of Coventry with the Mayor's name for that year being T.E.Friswell. The plate has a metallic gold rim which is very good. The china plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
